According to Ivancevich and Glucck, “Human resource management is the function performed in organizations that facilitates the most effective use of people (employees) to achieve organizational and individual goals”.

According to Flippo, HRM is “the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the procurement, development, compensation, integration, maintenance and reproduction of human resource to the end that individual, organizational and societal objectives are accomplished”

According to Dale Yoder “and the management of human resources is viewed as a system in which participants seeks to attain both individual group goals”.
